Idea new accessible locations aboard ships

One of my biggest pet peeves in the game is that when I'm sailing my War Galleon or War Frigate I see the windows of my Captain's Quarters but when I stop sailing and go man a cannon, there is no clear entry point or even a door that indicates I could possibly enter my Captain's Quarters (except for the Brig). Now this idea is a long shot, but what if it would be possible to enter the room under the helmsman's steering wheel (I'm talking about the Captain's Quarters of course) or even below the deck where all the broadsides are being fired. I'm not entirely sure as to what could be added other than the basic extravagant furniture based on ship level and size in the quarters (which could possibly leave room for more customization features) or cannon animation below deck, but I think It'd be pretty cool if it was possible to check out the full capacity of a War Brig or a War Sloop (which holds the small house-like structure behind the steering wheel). This concept could work for both role playing groups (to add to the realism factor) as well as for regular players who just want to explore more of the ship. If you guys have anything to add to this idea, please drop a reply or suggestion below because I'm sure it could be improved.

I think this is a great idea. Maybe it could expand on the quests where you have to recover (insert item) from (insert ship type). "Sinking" the ship would then grant you the right to board and search instead of an automatic (you got what you were after).
