Will we have to get a beta key to go to beta or will it be open for the public?

Semi open like alpha where you request a playtime or if you have an alpha key becomes a beta key.
Once semi open is over it will become fully open to the public. Also when you make your pirate in semi open it will be the pirate in open beta!

You can only get beta keys from contests and there aren't any right now. The maximum you can do is play for 3 hours in the semi-open beta. Then you'll have to wait for open beta.

I heard through the grape vine that playtime would be longer than 3 hours though. I could be wrong.
