New Pirates of the Caribbean ride-Shanghai

View the above video in FULL SCREEN! ;)

Disney poured a significant amount of money into Disney Shanghai and to me, it's a bit ironic that they reserved such a heavy portion of space (within the park itself) to promote readily the POTC brand/films. (Note: Shanghai's Treasure Cove remains the first [POTC specific] park- theme amongst all of Disney's theme-park properties). *If you are a POTC fan as I am, Shanghai represents Disney's continual commitment and excitement towards the brand itself.

(Side-note: If you believe in 'conspiracy' theories, I feel that perhaps Disney Interactive's recent closure of Disney Infinity and it's backing-out on developing games in-house is due to the incredibly large deficit Disney incurred into making Disney Shanghai. In a sense, Disney has a lot to lose if Shanghai were to ultimately become a money-pit for them).

Either that or Penguins are more interesting than Pirates.
