I know this is such a noob question but why does my avatar suddenly have the voodoo aura under it for no reason. Like, after I get off a ship?

Other players/enemies can attune you with voodoo dolls, and sometimes the effect doesn't wear off.

It's a bug, supposed to disappear when you're no longer attuned. Probably not a high priority since it doesn't really affect game play.

Yes it's a bug. Might as well report it in game since we are all beta testers and that's why you're there.
Don't know how tlopo works it's report ques, but maybe if enough in game reports stack up, it might get pushed in some direction other than sitting there.
The point that it isn't known to effect game play, like was stated, probably puts it on the back burner.

It only Lags the game by about 25 - 30 FPS and then ya get the Roaring sound effects !! lol

I've had that happen to me as well, along with a weird humming sound, until I log back out!

You can make the attune audio bug louder if you tab out to the home desktop screen for your own enjoyment. :3

Which kind of begs the question, is audio truly turned of in the menu or is some part of the audio package still using resources?
I wish i knew of a way to stop all audio processes in the profile before the program boots up.
