(Note: The following is written by myself as someone committed 'not' to play a POTCO remake, which is solely based upon Disney's python-coded language [unless permission itself has been granted by Disney])

Friends, it appears there is a lot of disconnect between how long it actually takes for POTCO to be remade! If this topic does interests you, I challenge you to read on:

YE pirates whom patience has jumped ship:
  1. Why so discontent and angry? :confused: Were ye not cradled enough as a babe in yer mother's arms or did ye happen to eat too many paint chips? If yer not happy, ye have the freedom at yer disposal to go someplace else and to "satisfy" yer gaming pursuits which have nothing to do with POTCO! Take the pacifier out of yer mouth and fly away from this nest ye have grown used to (to which you also feel other people are to blame) when...now here's a headline...DISNEY:piratemickey: itself is to blame for POTCO not being open
  2. Understand that in contrast to Toontown Online, POTCO is a completely unique and dynamic game which Disney developed that has it's own (unique) challenges to which the ex-TTO community does not have to worry about. As a pirate, I would think you could remember that given how much of a challenge it is to refill an empty bottle of RUM once the bottle itself has been uncorked :drink:

YE pirates (and so-to-been pirates) whom actually are contributing to POTCO being remade:
  1. Understand that several years prior to POTCO being closed, pirates have waited patiently for any sort of update and/or "the next BIG thing" to occur within POTCO. To enlighten ye, Disney dropped the ball in so far as keeping close tabs on the POTCO community and further trying to engage them into the game itself. On the one hand, massive employee layoffs within Disney Interactive sealed POTCO's fate. On the other, Disney choose to implement another POTC-inspired game but on a different platform. *Therefore, as emulator/private server "developer" ye need to get savvy with the fact that the ex-POTCO community and player-base as been through a crap-load of junk and most of it has been spent waiting for "the next BIG thing" to occur
  2. Forget the stupidity in establishing a POTCO (remake) time-line which can be counted down as if it's the New Year's Eve ball situated in Time Square. (If yer going to be that idiotic, ye might as well lose all of yer followers because POTCO players have been through a crap-load and what is one more thing to place on their own 'disappointment' mantle, eh)
Question: Can people please get over the nonsense (I mean, really) that WHOM EVER GETS TO THE FINISH LINE FIRST OFFERS THE MOST QUALITY AND COMMUNITY-DRIVEN project? What kind of dung is that? :confused: I mean, seriously...

*The next time you imagine the pyramids^, think to yerself, "ye know, I think they should have finished the construction of them sooner because the Pharaohs could have had extra time in constructing Las Vegas' Luxor Hotel & Casino!"

~ Let's gain some empathy (soon) and think through things a little better, savvy? :wave:
