I heard it was a race galleon.. idk where I heard it from though lol.

I guess sloops are more able to get shipwrecked because of their shallow draft so the captain wouldn't mind sailing closer to the shore, but alas got caught in a reef.
That was just a logical view on it though

well dang hahaha... i never noticed, i thought they were all war frigates that crashed
