Question Odd Issue with Changing My Avatar

I was going to change my avatar and some weird issues with it were going on. It was like I had two separate pictures going at once (supposed to be the one with the purple skyline). As you can see, the forums seemed a little off when I changed it.

How I did it:
I changed my avi like any other person would but then I decided I didn't like the blue one as much so before hitting "Ok" I changed my avi again and then hit "Ok".

I have had this issue as well over the course of the years. If your avatar stills shows up incorrectly, you may want to remove it temporarily (a few minutes at most) and then upload your new one.

It seems like a server refresh bug to me but I cannot tell for sure.

Just an aggressive caching issue, per the thread linked above it generally sorts itself out after a short wait. I think this will finally be addressed by a forthcoming update.
