Not a big surprise to some of you...deep down I am a skeptic. *What's worse, because I have found myself readily online over the years (basically due to POTCO) that skepticism itself has reared it's ugly head and has sought to kiss the green wart on the back of the toad of PARANOIA. To be truthful, for the longest time I never quite knew why this was so for myself. (And it's not as if I reside in the state of Missouri [the 'show me state'] where everything has to be proven first in order to be believed). At the core of my being though, I am a proud American whom believes quite sincerely that actions speak louder than words. Anyway, enough of that and back to my own PARANOIA.
I believe...the root cause to some of my own PARANOIA can be traced back to when I was a kid. Some of this can be good for a kid, right? It's like when you're young...your mom and dad likely told you to not talk to strangers and to avoid unfamiliar surroundings. As a kid, such lessons were crucial because we were completely unaware and clueless that some happenings within the world were opposed to our very livelihood and personal safety. For lack of a better analogy, it's a big but small world after all and Disney just didn't make that up on their own.
So anyway, I just wanted to shed some light upon the topic of PARANOIA this Halloween and to remind you that when it's all said and done...a little PARANOIA goes a long way as it keeps you safe and heightens your senses (until at least the 'sugar rush' wears off).
