Discussion Passing the Time

I play Battlefield 1/2/3/4, Guild Wars, Starcraft, GTA5, and of course TLOPO

Age of Empires, Path of Exile, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, Doom others played

Love basically all those games! TLOPO the most obviously ;)

Played AC: Black Flag from start to end, modded Skyrim, tried out deeeep.io, played some Subnautica. Watching Breaking Bad

I'll have to try those out! Never seen Breaking Bad, maybe I should give it a go? :dance1:

ACIV: Black Flag has been the main thing I am using to pass the time (81% Total Completion, Story Finished, Templar and Mayan Armor Unlocked, All Naval and Assassin Contracts Completed, Jackdaw fully upgraded (except Elite Fire Barrel, Mortar, and Heavy Shot Storage)), and more). I have been looking for something else to help pass the time as well because (obviously) I am nearing the end of what I can do in Black Flag. I have been watching Criminal Minds, as well.

When TLOPO closed I played Minecraft for a while but then I got bored of that. I then replayed The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker ( when I finished it I thought TLOPO would be back but... NOPE. That game got me back into Zelda ALOT so I played the newest one Breath of the Wild <-- I highly recommend it if you like open world games. I finished that and thought TLOPO would be back but .NOPE.. So at the moment I'm playing an old Zelda game from 1998 Ocarina of Time <-- It was scored as one of the best games of all time. No offense to TLOPO I fully respect them working this long since they are not getting paid, besides it has allowed me to do some other games and things that I might never have done if TLOPO was up :)

I've spent a lot of time recently playing a game that's a really big thing from my childhood, it's called Puzzle Pirates and what always kept me coming back to it even now when I completely outgrew the outer layer and surface aspects of the game is the completely, 100% player driven political and economic system. Plus the fact that next to being a pirate, you can make your living as a poker player, merchant with your own stall or anything you want really. It's a weird game in the fact that no other game gives you so much freedom of choice as to how you play, but is very constricted by it's childish packaging. Plus who doesn't love retro puzzle game inspired puzzles?

After POTCO I played Lord of the Rings for a while with my grandson but there weren't a whole lot of friendly players. Then I switched to Guild Wars II. Joined a guild of a lot of ex-POTCO players. Have had a lot of fun with them but we also discussed many times still missing POTCO. Then one of the guild members mentioned TLOPO and I started playing as a Beta player. Since it has been closed I have visited back with Guild Wars but I still long for TLOPO where I am most at home.
