Patching 2 hours+!

I was Patching for 2 hours, and I'm still updating... my game time expires in 1 hour... lol. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't a little upset. With my computer and Internet of course... anyone else have slow loading launchers?
 
If it doesn't work in the end PM me mate, happy to send you my game directory trough dropbox or something. Might be quicker for you, not sure
 
I have slow internet myself, roughly 75kb/s. Usually I can get by downloading the smaller files without issue (23/40ish MB). Although when it gets to 90/100+ MB it takes so long that the launcher likes to give up on me resulting in "904: Cannot Extract..."

I am able to bypass this issue by manually patching the game. I download the files with Firefox, this allows me to restart the download without losing my progress if the download happens to fail. I then unzip the files with 7-Zip and replace the files in my TLOPO directory.

It's a bit of a pain but I guess it's better than nothing. :p
