haha that is handy where can a normal user download these files please?

I wrote sort of a "guide" on this patching method a while ago. You can read it here. The download links are contained within that post, although they are for Windows only.

Keep trying to open the game, its normal it crashes sometimes at startup, just dont tab out once it starts and you should be fine

Slow is normal because alpha.. xD I get around 25 fps with a 1500euro+ gaming rig
