Petition for Pirates

Honestly, if this game has a chance to survive it will not be Disney but only if another MMORPG company takes over. Keep in mind that Disney dropped all these games because of more aspects, it's the money but also the company policy and they have already made a public decision. A petition to a dedicated MMO company have better chances because they just look at the money aspect, input/output how much investment to bring the game up to speed to attract more players and generate income. There are quite a few out there that like a challenge and to make a name for themselves showing older companies like Disney that with the right management it can be done . The only thing that we need is to give it a try and make sure they all know. If any of them are interested our job it's done, they will contact Disney and come to an agreement. Just my opinion, there are quite a whole community passionate about this game, we need to take that and use it, move beyond the emotional response and act on it. Like somebody already said no but's no if's, just do it. We can only blame ourselves later on if we didn't try everything.

Theres 3 Petitions going on already. I don't see why we should have another one. Its just confusing and won't help. Its better if everything is in 1

I am not trying to counter the support for all of these other petitions but...in my opinion...too many petitions related to POTCO may actually do less in consideration to having a positive impact to save POTCO. For one thing, Disney has actually been bombarded this entire year of 2013 with online petitions.

There was an online petition presented to Disney to protest the Mexican "Day of the Dead" celebration (to which Disney tried to implement a patent after), there was the online petition presented to Disney to have them save COH (from that game's development company), and there was the online petition presented to Disney to have them change the appearance of the concept of "Merida" (the redheaded character from the movie, 'Brave').

If I actually was employed by Disney, in the back of my mind I would likely view too many POTCO petitions as overkill and therefore, not worth the effort to be taken seriously given the fact that there have been just too many online petitions presented to Disney since January of this year.
