Pirate Has Green Hair?

How does this pirate have green hair? Wasn't everything closed down for maintenance during the time of year that green hair is typically available? Is there a glitch in the game or something that I just missed?

I heard the pirate Jim state that it was a glitch when he made his pirate.

These are players manipulating the coding of the game in some way, similarly to the flooding of Abassa, Tortuga the other day.

Correction: The green hair is not a manipulation of the code, but I'd still like to know how Tortuga got flooded.

Its a glitch with the UI which lets you select one hair color box past silver which according to the game is the green option. The scale glitch for any body part including height in character creation lets you slide the slider past the max height. Also I don't report how to do these harmless glitches because last time I taught a developer the way a glitch was done I got banned for it simply because it involved a autoclicker. Not that this involves an autoclicker but thats beside my point.
