Player doesn't swim at Outcast Isle, walks underwater

I get that bug fairly often, less than half the time but I bet it’s more than 25% at Outcast. I also often see it on Padres.

No, I didn't get sunk, just docked there normally for some quest and it was like that.

Try teleporting to the island when you encounter this. Just open Map and then select the island you're on, (Outcast, Rumrunners, etc) and then TP back there.

But its a wild island the "return" option on the map is a completely different "civilized" island. For example for the Rumrunner's one the "return" option was Cuba because that's where I set sail from. It never lets me tp back to the same island if its a wild island (Rumrunner, Isla Tormenta, Driftwood, etc)

Most often I walk across at Outcast . Port Royal I always swim across to access Wicked Thicket .

Usually when I see that bug it's because I got sunk.

Not me, I often see that bug but don’t often sink. I suspect that it is common all the time everywhere in game but is most often noticed on Outcast since you must swim to the area where Devil Root resides. I suspect if you try swimming every time you go to a new island you will see the truth of it.

Here’s something to consider about this: I just went to Outcast and I walked under water to Devil Root but then after looting him a short time I swam. I didn’t think to try swimming in the narrows between the islets, where I originally walked.

this happens to me at Kingshead all the time, probably like 75%. i'm honestly more familiar with the underside of the island than the island itself lol

I sailed to Outcast to see this for myself. After porting I was able to walk under the water between the islands. I tp'd to my guildmate who was there and it fixed it. I decided to launch again to see if it happens when you port.

I have no clue what causes it, but TP'ing does fix it. No you cant tp to the island you're on, but tp'ing to a friend does work.
