Playing another remake? Want your old Guild name?

Attention to all Guild Masters and another remake players. As of today I'll personally be taking names for old guilds. We of the Pirates Online Rewritten Staff have decided that old GM's from POTCO should be given the option to keep there guild name.

I'll personally will be keeping the title of GM of Dark Archive unless 3 pirates. John Foulroberts, Cougar Bladerage or Jason(Founder) decide on playing the game.

In the link below you will have to give proof you are the GM of that guild and a screenshot. If we do not already know you are the GM.

I recommend people like Punkin Pie post there so there guild name is not taken. If you don't post your guild name there we cannot take the name away from someone when another remake launches.

I was an officer of the guild O U T L A W S. The GM, Jarod will most likely not be playing another remake, so I would like to make it in his memory. I unfortunately have no screen shots of this guild, as it was back in 2010-2012 before my computer crashed and I lost everything :/
 
@Hector wargull Since it's not a very well known guild I'll just right down your name.

@Johnny da Pirate Since I know you are the GM I won't need a screen.

@Hector wargull Well, I guess you can reserve the name?

@Nate Crestbreaker Since you requested it the only person who can take the GM title away from you is the founder GM if he has a screenshot BEFORE another remake opens. If he comes back to another remake when you already have the title you will get to keep it.

@Punkin Pie I hope to hear from you so I can right down your name. Hate to see someone take it from you. :/

Surely Charles, I would like to keep "Masters and Skulls" in case there are guild members or myself who want to keep it. I have never been a member of that other site, do I have to sign up there in order to post that?
 
Pie you do not have to become a member of our "Forums" site to keep the sign up for the name. We might need you to sign on our "Official" site once it is done. I just needed you say you want the name before anyone else takes it (Which people already have tried) :P spread the word to other GM's if you would :P

I can sign up there to do that, I don't mind. I just haven't had any reasons to go over there. Thanks Charles! :D
It's probably a good idea to not let people make guild names that are too similar also to old guild names? Idk, just blabbing lol.

That's really cool and considerate that they thought of that, letting the old guild names stay true to who they belonged to. Kudos! :cheers:

This is likely not the place for myself to be posting this but I do not think that it is helpful for the POTCO community to where another remake has a "forums" as well (in addition to POTHS' forums). I mean, just today I had decided to post a message on a POTHS forums thread, praising them for making actual progress to have an official website of their own.

In my respectful and most honest opinion, I do not think it serves the POTCO community well to have the availability of so many different types of forums. *In essence, it could prove counter-productive for the community as a whole because so many people are being pulled in so many different directions.

It's like being involved in a tug-of-war match where everyone's attention is being yanked, back-n-forth.

Shamus The Brute I would say I agree with you. However, we only made the forums for our staff and questions. Not so much as a new Pirates Forums. Most likely our forums will come to here once we are running another remake. As for POTHS they are making a completely new game, therefore they have all rights to make another forums for there "new" community.

I agree Shamus. Can we change your name to "Shamus the Wise"? I mean, who is this "Brute" they speak of?

I won't join any other forum, I was speculating we would have to go there to sign up to keep their guild name. But I believe Charles said that won't be necessary. I would never leave the Boss Davy Darkrage or the great staff here. :cheers:

Means another remake Forums is just for questions and joining staff. Once the game Pirates Online Rewritten is open the community will move here to PiratesForums for chat and gameplay just as with POTCO. :) Understand? So PiratesOnlineRewritten won't be "taking" members from PirateForums :P
