Playing another remake? Want your old Guild name?

I'm still not clear. You just mean whoever is in your current forum will close that one, and they will just move here as individual members? I'm confused, sorry, lol
 
Meaning, when another remake Opens we will tell ALL of our members to move HERE for communication. Then later on we might close the another remake forums seeing it is only made for development/updates. This forums however is made of social communication and very well staffed and founded by Davy, unlike our Forums.

another remake Forums = Updates/Staff Discussion and development topics.

Pirates Forums = Social communication FOR POTCO community which hopefully will mostly be at Pirates Online Rewritten.
 
OH I see. I just wondered why they won't keep that forum for their game members at that point. I would hope they wouldn't tell their members to come here, and then fix up their forum and then try to get everyone to move there. Sorry that sounds like an evil plot, lol. I watch too many movies maybe. ;)

I mean, just today I had decided to post a message on a POTHS forums thread, praising them for making actual progress to have an official website of their own.

In my respectful and most honest opinion, I do not think it serves the POTCO community well to have the availability of so many different types of forums. *In essence, it could prove counter-productive for the community as a whole because so many people are being pulled in so many different directions.

It's like being involved in a tug-of-war match where everyone's attention is being yanked, back-n-forth.

Oh, we do have an official website, but as Charles said, the wiki and forums are for before the game.
 
Yep, Gleaming you should really take on more of theses questions... I think I've answered a good hundred or 2 the past 3 days. I got programming to do XD

As do I, haha! I had a whole interview!

Anyway, I thought possibly that for my non-Game Master member, I'd quite like to reserve McRaging for Pretty Polly if she is playing and still here (and Eric McRage). If none respond, I'd be quite content to lead the guild.
 
TheGleamings - I hope to find a picture of the list of top 100 guild of POTCO so I may take all the names and safe there for there GuildMaster or Officers to take onto another remake. So there names are not stolen or stained in anyway. :)

So if anyone has a list of said top 100 or so guild listing for enemies or whatever, send them to me/Gleaming Thank you :)

If I remember correctly, a lot of those top 100 guilds were guilds that originated at the beginning of the game and were not active when the game closed. Anyone who is around now at present were in the active guilds. I might be totally wrong, but this is what I remember...

Sorry mates, as of today when I was kicked from the another remake. The team posted this. They want new pirates to create new guilds and don't really care about old names coming back such as "Dark Archive" "Masters and Skulls" "Second to none" and so on. Here is what they said on the post.

So they aren't allowing old guild names at all?
 
  • I will personally speak with TheGleamings about this and double/triple check with him if this is something that he would want available. I want to caution you all though, as Charles suggested, only those who can prove that their guild name was theirs should be considered for this. You cannot just submit a new name out of the blue.

    Charles, I'd like to publicly ask you for the screenshots that you have received thus far. If TheGleamings gives the green light for this, then we will continue and I do not want those who have already submitted their screenshot to have to do it all over again.

Personally, I would like reserved guild names to stay - democracy will decide this, however.

By the way, Charles is back in the team under graphics.
 
That last big above my signature was Gleamings answer to my question concerning the early name submission for previous POTCO guilds. With the double post thing here, it automatically put the answer in my previous post.

The early guild name submission for previous POTCO guilds will still continue.
