ok so we have to play poker for quests but disney NEVER shows us how to play and then if we keep losing it feels like were being scammed by dinsey in losing all our gold and not progressing in the game i think that they need to add a turorial to the poker tables or remove them either way its really annoying when ur just guessing at what to do

Well Bella did have a bit of a problem, she maxed her money, but she was only a level 4 on sailing, so couldnt even buy a ship, what i never told anyone (she won all her money in poker and blackjack), anyone want to play? I did finally decide to try the sailing thing, but went on my own ship, and allowed no one on, didnt want to scare anyone, but leveled up to 15 within just a few days, now i love, it, just ask Adhy, he is an expert, he taught me.....ty Adhy. But i still find myself, after boarding a ship, running up to the wrong side, hey what happened to the wheel?, and i swear i fall down those stairs least 3 times before i make it up, is so embarrassing,... i always hope no one is watching... Ok, ok, so ya caught me, falling in the water, when i went to go get on the ship, yeah that happens a bit too, :fish: but dont forget, i am really good at poker!:woot:

I'd better not sit at the same table as Bella and Molly then ... :p. I'm alright with blackjack, but with poker ... geez, my luck and resentment towards poker go hand in hand. I'm too stingy to give up my money to bet at poker table, that's why it takes me forever to finish poker quests. They stress me out! I've played poker in rl but am not a bluffer, so ... ;) When I play, I just hope to get a better hand, and that's the only reason why I call, or check if I don't think I can afford to lose any more. I only bet when I am very sure that I have a good hand, and rarely raise (I heard ya, just say it ... chicken, right?). I'd rather sail, and I am a darn good money maker too at it!

And I agree with Chris, a lot of younger players don't have any idea how to play it and when they ask, it's hard and long to explain it to them (but I always try to). Disney could have just quoted some tutorials out there, but again, there might be an ethical issue of teaching young people how to gamble (since there is 'gold' involved here). Idk, this game is already rated 10+, it might have to go to 12+ or something because of the suggestive gambling thing. But of course that would not be a good business strategy since it would deter younger people to join in Potco.

    EDIT (Dec 21, 2010 1:29 AM):
I play poker only a little bit but do like blackjack because its fast and i bet 500 most of the time and vary it a little bit to through them off. Usually works for me

Im level 50 and have no sence of direction on a ship. For that matter on the road too. Most of the time i take my ship out by myself. I'm always afraid i'll make an absolute fool of myself if i took out a crew. I do fine by myself in sinking ships. My luck with a crew we'd sink.

Same here, never anything less than 500, just seems a waste of time, most of the time i dont even cheat, especially at poker, just to many chances at getting caught, but they make it just way to easy for people to cheat at poker.,,,to bad they didnt do that at the casinos, we would be rich. I actually love Tahoe, because i love the mountains. To me is beautiful there. I always stop and go rock climbing on the drive up there. Vegas is all glitz, and Reno, just like a desert town, we do ride our motorcycles (no backseat for this girl & no not Paolo, still friends with my ex) up there, for the ralley when they have it though, is a bit crazy then,...

When do you find time to do all this stuff with your animal kingdom. I can see it now. "hey guys Bella's gone for the day. Lets get crazy while she's gone!" Just remember to put things back before she gets home. She'll never know the difference!

Well in my opinion you can read all you want, but if you fail at doing you fail at life cause life is doing and no one got rich from reading they got rich from doing. No one read something and got 1million dollars

hehe, Bella, is a summertime girl, lol, only been playing since pretty much October, actually, always take the dogos with me, have a house on the river, so, everything is pretty much right here, they have lots of room to roam, but, didnt always get to stay home with all my dogs, spent so many years, tied to an office desk, money has its price, one i was not willing to pay anymore, (althought i did bring my dogos to work, lol) my ex knew how to build a house, I figured out how to run a business.I think i know everything about concrete construction down to how many anchor bolts, visqueen, rebar go in a house,..boring stuff (that accountant mind, that always keeps thinking in #'s)....lol..i rather live a simple life, stay home and care for animals...:piratemickey:

What if it was a contest for 1 million dollars to the person who could read a passage the fastest? Then they read and got a million dollars lol I know I think too much into things

And I'm awesome at Blackjack I get 1250 a hand in Ratskellar. (Although I do cheat a bit since Poker gets u caught too fast with Cheating:()
