I've noticed that when I crash 9 times out of 10 it will give me a "flashback" of something I was doing about 5 minutes prior. This could mean it is trying to access RAM or Cache that's old or already gone, causing a crash

Wait...are you supposed to keep Vsync ON?From what i've been able to find, these crashes are due to a memory leak detailed in the linked thread: https://piratesforums.co/threads/crashes-caused-by-memory-leak-workaround.11642/
I have been getting these crashes despite following the instructions in that thread along with keeping Vsync on and turning off the ingame music. I have a Windows 8.1 OS (For those who may ask)
Wait...are you supposed to keep Vsync ON?
Well sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...Is there a way for me to turn it back ON?Yes otherwise there's gonna be problems (You could of course try turning Vsync off if it helps). I would also suggest turning off/lowering anything else that can be pretty demanding (Fancy skydome etc).

YEAAAAAAAAH 'bout that........That's where the struggles real cause um........I cant even load into the Main Menu.No worries mate
When you're ingame press escape and go to "Game Options". Look around on the different tabs on the left side (Can't recall which one at the moment) and find Vsync then click on it to enable it.

And I cant make another TimePlot reserve until tomorrow......again.It's cause there's an ongoing maintenance. Servers will be back up when the maintenance is finished
Sorry for the confusion.

darn Dude. That thread is incorrect... while the loading screen issues are indeed caused by memory usage issues, the proposed workaround has nothing to do with the underlying cause. I'm not surprised to hear that it didn't help you, because it won't help.
There is a limit to how much memory a program can access. The loading screen issues are happening because TLOPO is trying to use more memory than it's allowed to, not because there's a lack of available memory. That is why people are getting out of memory errors despite having an abundance of available memory.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's much we can do about it. I've already tried toggling every single setting in the game, and even reducing the game resolution to the bare minimum, and no matter what the memory usage remains exactly the same.

I find that when i freeze, pressing escape many times remedies it. Got the mouse wheel of death on a loading screen? Press escape. Do not hard reset your computer![]()
Is the console supposed to be there? I'm curiousYeah, sometime CTRL Alt Del does nothing for a while. Esc probably closes the responsive console in the background of the game idk
