I think disney almost kind of forgot about POTCO and put all their time and money into club penguin I still see a bunch of club penguin commercials and do you see any POTCO commercials

I totally agree, Gerard. :iagree:

Below is a video I had found of Club Penguin's, "Lane Merrifield"

*Did ye mates notice that even in this video, POTCO is seen but it is shown within the background & "shadow" of Club Penguin. Grrrrr...:cursing:

Is he one of the individuals who might be reading the petition?

Not for sure if this will be the case but for the sake of POTCO, I have decided to keep from saying other things within the future which may potentially jeopardize the petition effort (points above to my own 'previous' comment). I will say that although the attached poll shows that POTCO is ahead (by a 'considerable' margin) in comparison to Club Penguin, "Club Penguin" (by a 'considerable' margin) is ahead of POTCO in real within the minds of those working for Disney. :sad1:

Well he used the word kid over and over which pretty much defines the game in that article... Kind of smart idea when he mentioned that most games have ratings that aim for teens and adults so club penguin is a game for U13 which makes it kind of rare in that area therefore bringing in more money from kids who will cry to mama for subscription(he mention 14 and 15 being the old old range of players lol). I like how under control and safe thwy maintain it though. Definitely a well cared game.

And this game was worth $350 million?! THATS INSANE... I expect potco to be worth at below $20 million so i guess that itslef shows why CP is a priority. Not to mention they had 200 workers just to monitor chat in 4 languages... Lol really proves where Potco fits in...

Today, I flipped on the television & as it turned out (I think the channel was set on 'The Disney Channel'), I caught the very ending to a Club Penguin advertisement, for the game itself.

*Although I had seen only 2-3 seconds worth of the commercial, my thumb instinctively hit a button on the remote which instantaneously took me to the Food Network.
:p

lol ok considering you posted this on a forum for potco you should expect the biased results. I played club penguin for a few hours got bored and never went back on.....

now in terms of popularity club penguin by far (disregard the poll above were all biased here ) and therefore Disney makes the penguin game a higher priority than the pirates game. This is what realy upsets me there are hardly any good pirate games out there and this game has alot of potential but Disney chose the penguins:rumgone: . (on a seperate note this game was rushed for release due to them scrapping a huge portion of it for unknown reasons, meaning the game was never truley finished)

To be clear, Disney has in Canada it's very own divison - Disney Online Studios (Canada) - devoted specifically for the development/future success of Club Penguin.

I can understand your frustration, Captain Hi. *But, I can only assume that Disney knows what it is doing...I guess lol (to put it politely).
I just wish they would also see the advantage of strengthening POTCO as well. :arrrrr:

I was referring to general resources and the fact that Disney has many other online games to maintain I'm fairly certain D knows what they are doing just sometimes things dont work out (Armada, smart move bad outcome nuff said)

I just hope Disney at least tries to improve this game more

I know D: I saw that commercial too. Instantly changed channel rofl.

When I become a huge "rock star" and I make like a billion, ka-zillion dollars...the first thing I am going to do is to invest into some property and call it CLUB PENGUIN because this (it seems) is the only name that anyone is talking about within their financial reports.

*As club owner,:party:the main thing that I will have to figure out in the CLUB PENGUIN is the decision of whether I choose to offer plain ice-cubes in the drinks that are mixed or just small igloos???

As Walt Disney once said, you can't aim for just kids, which seems to be exactly the direction in which Disney is headed. Kids are going to eventually grow up. What happens then?

Club penguin honestly doesn't look that fun. Potco wins hands down, but is slowly dying because of it's limitations.

From the below article, Chris Heatherly (the 'man/penguin' whom replaced CP's Lane Merrifield), had this to say recently about Club Penguin:
We want to give the kids the sense that they can change the world,” said Chris Heatherly, General Manager of Disney Interactive Worlds. ”We also want to make a difference in the lives of children around the world,” Heatherly continued.
(Points ^ above and clears throat) "EXCUSE ME?" *Isn't this (partially) what revive POTCO is all about???

Club Penguin is like a chat-room with a bunch of mini-games but the chat is so insanely censored... i'd play POTCO anyday over Club Penguin.
