Pirates of the Caribbean Online - or - Club Penguin?

This is just a guess, but don't penguins regurgitate their food to feed their young?

*The best thing known about pirates :daggermouth: is that at least they're decent folk with "civilized" mannerisms (minus their pillaging, plundering, stealing, and killing tendencies, lol). Avast me hearties! It appears that Club Penguin has received a total of twenty-six (26) updates so far for 2013 (according to a June 26th post made to a blog page I am including below).

26!!!:(

I know who voted for Club idiotic but I don't want to put their name out there.
It's quite fine if someone does enjoy playing Club Penguin. :) I just find it personally ridiculous that CP has gained as much favoritism that it has amongst Disney Interactive games but as LEO had reminded us within an older (forums) thread that had to deal with the need for "our" game to be better maintained, Disney had spent a lot of money to purchase CP and therefore, they have to devote the time and resources to it with the hope of making such an investment pay off.

However, I really hope that Disney/Disney Interactive know what they are doing because one thing that POTCO has proven is that little tiny kiddos are not the only demographic to be focusing upon towards making an investment "profitable." It's just...their approach towards gamers in general is not to their advantage. Kids do grow up, after all. :duh:

Yeah man. Club Penguin's age demographic is what? 6yr. to 12? Most kids, once they reach 12 or 13 are gonna want to move on to a game aimed more at teens and young adults. POTCO was that game, and Disney failed to see that. Maybe someday they will learn from this mistake, but I'm not getting my hopes up that they will bring back the game.

Pffft, nobody at the age of 12+ will be playing Club Penguin. If the gender demographic was to be an even distribution, it would be unrealistic. Guys are DEFINITELY not going to be playing that game probably after the age of 12 at the least. They're all interested in XBOX and Playstation games. Girls, not too sure, but I can't imagine they'd be playing CP either.

Yeah, exactly my point. POTCO was a great game for them to "graduate" to. But now it's gone, and I have lost all respect for Disney (POTCO's closing is not the only reason), not that I ever had that much to begin with.
