Question PVP quests like Caribbean conflict

Pirate Lord
I was wondering if doing the Caribbean conflict adds any kind of benefit to your pirate in pve?
I believe the quests were originally designed to give people a taste of player versus player.
But I personally have no desire ever for pvp.
Thus my question is: Does doing the pvp quests mean anything to a totally non pvp player? Does completing these quests give one more chances for a legendary? Do more non pvp quests appear because of doing a pvp line of quests? Am I missing gaining something of value by not doing pvp quests. Again, I value nothing about pvp. Do the quests do anything for me in my normal PVE game.
I'm a 50 and need no rep. I also consider it a glitch that I am automatically turned into a spanish or french ship by being dc'd near them.

thx.

I'd like to think that if one isn't interested in PvP, then the Caribbean conflict will be of no benefit to them. However, that is just my use of common sense and not me speaking with certainty.

I did try to look this up, but couldn't find anything on it.

I agree, but not entirely sure. I tried to look it up as well with no avail.

As many things in this game are linked in certain ways. Like most quest type games.
Since an mmo is a form of milestone play, where one thing can lead to another, I've said throughout this forum that I've not found legendary because I may not have passed some sort of milestone. It's not a level thing as many have found legendary at all levels. And since it's a game of unlocking items and such, perhaps one needs the right combo of attributes.

I'm going to try to max potions next, just in case that may open a code for you. That would leave just the pvp quests undone.

Thus my questions about pvp and someone with long time experience about this.

And then again, everything I think of this theory could be squid poop.
