Queen Anne's Revenge Un-boardable

My guild sunk the QAR a little bit ago. Though we were the only ship who fought it, we were unable to board it since the green circles didn't appear. (see screenshot) Is this a common problem?

It also happens with flag ships, but so far for us its been about 1 in 3 flag ships don't have the circles.

We just pretend those ships were empty and move on.

Back in potco there was a rare bug that if you hit a flagship with firebrand sometimes rarely the circles would not appear, try next time and make sure nobody uses any firebrand shot on it and see if that changes anything

It's very common for the QAR to do that. From what I've seen it happens any time it repairs itself which will happen if anyone has attacked it before you get there and also if you let it get too far away from you as you attack it. My advice is never attack it unless it just appeared and stay as close as possible when you attack. Another issue is the ship glitch when you attempt to board, in my mind this might only happen to crews of 2 but I'm not sure. I recommend that if you decide to attack do so with a crew of more than 2 or try solo. Your ship will be locked in an infinite battle with a crewless QAR if that happens to you, the only way you get your ship back is to wait for the server to reset.

They have now disabled the QAR to try and fix some of the bugs. That way no one will try it and get to a place where they are frustrated cause it didn't work right.
