Question about Hallowed Woods quest time limit...

In the original news post it says "Hallowed Woods will be open until December 31st".

Can you let us know what that means, exactly? Is the cave gone? Do you have to collect the 2x time gift at the end before it disappears? Or is it that the Quest, starting with Anne will no longer be available but the quest will still be open for those who started it prior to December 31st?

The quest "Hollowed Woods" is pretty fast and easy with people to help out. But what they say at the time limit is the quest and cave will be gone at December 31st until next year. So its in a way, limited edition which is great what TLOPO is doing to mix it up! At the end of the quest when you turn it in, one of the rewards is 6 hours double reputation which only counts when you're online. Time won't be taken off when you're offline so you're okay to grind out TLOPO for the 6 hours you're online. If you're wondering what are the other rewards, they're gold and reputation points.

So, to be clear, you MUST finish the quest and collect the 2x time at the end of the quest. And therefore have to use the 2x time up when playing and not be able to save it for later.
 
Yes, you must finish the quest to the 2x reward before the date of the limited edition "Hollowed Woods" quest goes away at December 31st. But you have plenty of time until then. And yes you use up the 2x when you're playing TLOPO and if you're offline, it won't take time off your 6 hour 2x reward. So the only way to save it later is just being offline TLOPO if you wanna grind it out later. Other than that you're good to go! Gather a crew a your guild to fight the Dry Rot boss and The Watcher ;)
