Clothing Question: What's so significant about 'Bright' clothing?

I keep hearing about them and people collecting them and stuff but what's their significance to looting? Just curious

People love brights because they can be some of the best looking clothes in the game, and unlike most clothes, you can only get them from loot.

Exactly what Thomas said, can't be bought. The title of crude or rare makes them sound bad, but in reality they're awesome.

I think brights should be famed clothing and dark blacks should be legendary clothing.

I've always considered dark blacks to be brights. A complete ensemble of the same color brights was always considered very desirable and was not easy to come by as they are rare even though their card doesn't suggest it.

Personally, if I enjoy wearing it that's what I stick with. It doesn't matter if it's Crude, Rare, or whatever. Besides, it's not the clothes that define your character, it's the person playing said character (indirect reference to someone, guess it!).

Bright clothing is pirate garment wear that's actually been cleaned within the last 3 months, as opposed to regular pirate clothing that's never been cleaned!
