Reserved Playing Time, Servers still down?

Hello, I've just happened upon TLOPO recently after having played the original PiratesOnline for around a year. I was wondering if someone could clear the air about what's going on right now. The launcher says that the servers are closed for an update yet I have reserved my playtime for 1:00 PM today. What should I do?

The servers are closed for an update that will help with crashing issues and many other things. This down time will last from 2 weeks - 1 month (THERE IS NO SET OPENING FOR THE GAME TO COME BACK ONLINE DO NOT TAKE MY WORD ON THIS). The time you reserver for 1 pm you can either cancel it or just leave it be. You won't be able to play the game until the update is released.

As was mentioned above, the game is currently down with no exact date for when it will be up. This was discussed in the livestream sometime ago which you can listen to here on Youtube:

The update will include a variety of stuff such as a complete overhaul of the backend of the game code which will mean a lot less lag than what's been seen throughout a good portion of Beta. Have patience mate, the game will come back eventually.

Welcome to the forums! Like some people said above, the game is currently closed for the biggest update of beta yet! Im sure you won't be disappointed when it reopens!

FoulRoberts has that uptime web tracker. From today at 0% it would climb to 100%. It looks like alpha to beta upgrade. Correct me if I'm fishing in a boot.

the game should be up within the next two weeks in theory, the devs gave a rough two weeks during the stream and that was about a week ago, it could take longer but it shouldnt take anywhere near the 3 months of alpha to beta

I don't know man, it really frustrates me. Rum must always be present!

But to be on topic, as others have said the game is down for an update. Should be back decently soon, not sure when but less than Alpha to Beta.
