Rolled back Legendary

Can you point out to me where you were making a point about how you doubt people will contact support after seeing this post and people definitely would contact support if this guy gets his world eater blade back, I doubt a lot would care if this was 2 years ago or 1 year ago, a lot would contact support and overload the amount of work the staff would have to do to go through each complaint just to restore their lost items even if most of those people only want their legendaries back.
The EDIT section. As I explained there, you cannot dismiss the quality of the items that were rolled-back, as you attempted to do. I don't know if you are aware but legendary rates are not very good. I do not know one person in the entirety of my play time in this game who has lost a legendary from a roll-back besides this guy. I have been around since beta-keys, been through a lot of the roll-backs, and faced my own disappointments, but not once have I seen a person even email support about a roll-back. I've seen people do it when they got their account hacked by a certain group that was active a few years ago. I've seen it happen when they crash on a legendary screen with the item still in the loot, but these are all circumstances that already imply something of great value that has been lost. Legendaries are rare, and during the time roll-backs were a thing, the game had even less players, looting for even less time, who were all allegedly abusing a bug as RC was not available at the time, to get these items. You are looking at this purely from the perspective of the principle of "if someone can do it, they will." Completely factoring out how people feel about the items they found, if it meant anything to them, if they truly lost anything (e.g if they lost a Lost Sword of El Patron, sure it sucks, but most people who already have a legendary, already have an objectively better item in terms of raw damage,) or even if they still remember something that happened so long ago.

Additionally, how many people actually saw this thread? I count about 10-15 people based on the comments and the likes. No one else in this thread has stated they will contact support for an item they lost. Probably double that based on people who merely glanced and then went on their way to watch Youtube or whatever.
That is still not many people.

Additionally yet again, it is the job of the people on the support team to help players out. Emailing them is a players prerogative if they have experienced anything unjust within the game. Being concerned of the example set by this guy getting his WEB back, as regards to the "overload" of work the support team will experience, is effectively being concerned with having the support team do their jobs. It makes functionally no sense, and this guy getting his WEB back (or not) means that they are doing their jobs. I am not sure if you are aware but the TLOPO team is not just developers and coders, programmers and lore writers. It is moderators, greeters, support to help with technical issues etc.

All in all, even if the 1 or 2 people ultimately email support about their items, you will see 0 impact on the game, at all.

Of course I'm aware that it's hard to get a legendary and I was talking about if this guy gives us an update and tells us he got his sword back there will be a lot of people contacting support, I'm also aware that there's more staff members than just mods and developers but it might actually stress them out to respond to every complaint and I doubt they would want too many emails sent to them even if it is their job. It's funny how you say I'm dismissing the quality of the items people lost but you did the same thing with famed items like cannon rams when in-fact people spend a lot of time getting those items and definitely wanted them back and were rejected that's why I don't think it matters what people find valuable. I think people should just move on and hopefully loot those items again.

This is getting a little off topic from the OP, who just logged back onto toplo 2 years later after more or less leaving during roll backs and beta problems. So, I figure he feels it's at least worth a shot to try. It was a roll back and I suppose staff will decide which way to go. Staff may have hard rules for the most part. My inclination is people don't get stuff back from roll backs. I could be wrong.
I agree both with Arr and Jessie on their points of view as well. But it isn't about value as such, but that value sits with the beholder who realistically can't force their value system on the rest of the community.
I don't quite know what a upvote has to do with this however. I didn't know tlopo had upvotes.

I appreciate people expressing their own personal opinions, long story short throughout the roll backs I didn't only lose my WEB that was the greatest value I lost, There was obviously ship upgrades I made that day, famed items I looted and etc, but the thing that bothers me the most is that I lost a Legendary which I know chances of obtaining it again can be somewhat Impossible due to the amount of time I've put into farming it and I can't afford to do it again because I'm not at the same situation in life that I was before 2 years ago which I could spend considerable amount of time playing the game.
Also for the Upvote talk I wanted to grab the Devs attention so they can decide on this matter, How ever I haven't received any update from Email nor Forum yet.

It can take awhile to get a reply. They are extremely busy answering other questions or trying to fix bugs right now. Plus their own real life scenarios going on. Give it time and they should reply to ya.

That's really unfortunate that they denied your request. I don't see any reason to deny it based on what you've shared here - screenshot and everything. Sorry about your WEB 😞 and I hope you get it back (or another one) soon!
