Sails should be more resistant to other cannonballs besides chain shot. I find it ridiculous how all these ships can take out a ship's sail with a few hits which makes no sense. (Explosive shot, round shot, and other cannonballs except for the use of chain shot.) Back then, people had to destroy other's sails by the use of chain shot and taking out the mast. Shooting sails with a cannonball wouldn't do any good unless the entire sail had holes in it but that would be a waste of ammunition. In the game, cannonballs such as explosive (which is the most strange yet OP cannonball to take out a sail), round shot, etc. should perform an incredibly REDUCED amount of damage to a ship's sail. To counter this, the damaged performed by CHAIN SHOT shall deal a more INCREDIBLE amount of damage to a ship's sail. Although this isn't real life and how it would be extremely difficult to hit a mast with a chain shot in the game, hitting the sail in the game would be equivalent as to hitting a mast in real life. However, some might say that I am a Sloop user. Yes, I am, so? Sloops are not very common, and a reason for them not being as common as a brig or a frigate, is probably because of how easy it is take out the sails. If these methods were to be applied to the game, the method of using chain shot would possibly be used more frequently by players. But, to make it fair, every ship should be able to fire a volley of chainshots besides the lower level ships.
