Suggestion Sell/keep items while near island, instead of docking.

Honorable Pirate
An Idea that I saw someone say in a thread was that instead of needing to dock to sell and keep items, you can instead have the option to sell/keep loot available with the option to dock, like a second button next to dock that you click to see what loot you have, and decide what to do with it all without docking. This would allow people to avoid the risk of crashing and losing all of their loot, as well as continue sailing without having to constantly dock.

Well the crashes and lag are 98% fixed in this update so no need

Well, at that point it would just be a matter of convenience. Who wants to constantly have to dock just to sell their loot? Don't try and bring up realism, because you literally just stand there and sell your stuff to nobody when you dock anyway.

Lol what do you mean sell it, it gets trashed if you don't want it. Don't ya think it's pretty lazy to feel the need to not have to port.

The thrill of sailing is when you dock and on that dock, you see everything you've collected this would ruin that thrill just for... Convenience.

Is it really all that thrilling to have to wait through a loading screen just to sell your stuff and then have to walk to the dingy and wait through yet another loading screen? Getting rid of that process would be better due to the fact that you could easily just keep sailing without interruption. Sailing is the fun part, not loading screens.

Also, I am not suggesting we get rid of the loot screen, I am suggesting that you just click a button to bring up said loot screen rather than having to dock to see it.

But with the scoundrel of the seas and bounty hunters and stuff it makes a huge difference. It would suck all of the fun out of it

Howabout this, instead of removing the option to dock and loot that way, we just have it both ways. If you want to dock to loot you can, or you can click a button to bring up the loot screen. The best of both worlds sort of thing.

It creates suspense, and if you can't wait for a load screen you've got no patience.

I for one, can't seem to understand these kind of ideas centered on game's satiability issues

Please answer me this, why would anyone want to create a fix for the actual fix itself? No offense here but I would like to clarify that creating workarounds rather than fixing the current problems (i.e. loading screen errors/sea crashes) won't really speed up the development of TLOPO project.

To my eyes, there's no need for unnecessary additions to the game. The real feat is to have a game working with everything you've got in store. Not creating things to bump the actual issues. :sad1:

Just saying.

Notice: The purpose of this reply is not to corrode anyone's ideas/suggestions. The game is currently down to fix these pesky issues the majority of people had. Everything will be back in place eventually. Give it time. Thanks.

As I said, it would also help with immersion. Nothing is less immersible than a loading screen. I don't expect it to be added ASAP, I just think it would be a nice option to have so you don't have to wait through two loading screens. I fully understand if it isn't put in, as I am not really complaining, it just seems like a good idea to have it as an eventual option rather than a replacement.
