Sending Items between pirates

I'm sure this has been asking 1000 times before, but I am a beginner. I used to play years ago and stopped, so I have a pirate I used then. I would like to get her items (clothes etc.) and put them in my new pirate which is much more advanced and then delete the old one. Is there a way to do that?
 
No, there is no trading system in game yet to trade with other pirates or within your own.

You could see that 'trading' has not happened yet. But a lot of ppl think it should, in some kind of form.

I see. Thank you both for the information and that was an informative link. Oh well, hopefully Disney works it out soon.
