Servers are resetting constantly

The servers are still resetting constantly. Just giving an update in case some folks didn't know.

My amazing guildies wondered what was up so I said I'd post about it.

She means District Resets. Thanks for posting Punkin!

Hey MMDR or Mike @Mike Wass
I just wondered, can we have an idea why the resets kept/keep happening?
I know I usually say the Team doesn't have to give reasons for what's going on in the development.
We understand it's expected to happen in Beta and all, but I'm just wondering for the sake of some folk's sanity.
So many friend's that it's happened to as they're ready to take a famed from loot or for me usually right after I land on my rented fishing boat.. BAM reset. Yesterday it was a couple hours of constant resets.

I always remind people all that we're going thru in game is part of the process, and part of the progress.

Do the resets mean that the developers are working on the game at the time and possibly editing game files makes the servers reset to accept the changes?

Thanks in advance for any crumbs of insight ;)

How often are 1. The district resets happening, and 2. How often does "the game just disappear" and do you have crash logs of this specific occurance? Thanks

Well it was happening about 3 to 4 times an hour last night. Today it has not happened once for me.

I just wondered if there's a problem , the servers keep resetting suddenly, and for the like the past hour.

Wasnt sure if the Team was aware if something was going on.
If they know about this they should be looking into it now because this has been going on and on the past 2 days.

Has the problem subsided for everyone or, is it becoming more frequent?

District just reset for me...
Of course we had sunk umpteen ships with 20 Skulls, lol!
If it were me, I think I would keep a mental note about the following just to keep some sort of recollection of what happened prior to the reset (for personal 'trending' purposes) :):
  • Where I was and what I was doing
  • Whom was near me and what they were doing
I would then review things over, idk, maybe a week's time to understand what does trend. (Obviously, once the issue is fixed there would be no need of this).

I'm pretty sure a district reset encompasses far more than what I or those nearby are doing...

I'm pretty sure you're right...however...there's no harm in being aware of your own surroundings to help TLOPO with this Beta-phase.

Keeping a mental picture of what happened & whom was nearby shortly before you're kicked (and then documenting that info. down), provides a log for yourself to refer back to if by chance you're ever asked about (district reset) issues or if you just feel the need to trend your own experiences to understand if any particular pattern does emerge. In retrospect, it's the difference between being proactive about your own game-playing experience versus reactive.

I'm no smart pirate (and me one good leg smells of cheese) but, I would think information trended like this could be helpful.
