Suggestion Ship Materials from Enemies

This may be extremely foolish, but this is just an idea because I am just currently grinding ship materials to help me reach level 5 Skull and Bones on my War Frigate. Anyways, I'm getting kind of bored of just repeatedly getting on my ship, or anyone else's ship for that matter, just to spend about 30 minutes of my time, to get a portion of ship materials, which I have been doing for the past 2 weeks. I'm starting to get into getting reputation on land, mainly Isla Tormenta, then my mind stuck an idea...

Since Davy Jones's crew is are enemies which are literally parts of his ship, maybe these enemies should be capable of dropping ship materials, in a balanced matter. Obviously I know how hard it is to get items such as iron and steel, so maybe these items could be dropped in small amounts for every 5-6 enemies. I'm making these measurements just for iron and steel to just give the community an idea.


Iron
Loot Pouch : 1-2 iron, around a 1/5 chance of iron appearing
Loot Chest : 3-4 iron, around 1/3 chance of iron appearing
Loot Skull Chest : 5-7 iron, around a 1/2 chance of iron appearing


Steel

Loot Pouch : 1 steel, around a 1/7 chance of steel appearing
Loot Chest : 2-3 steel, around 1/5 chance of steel appearing
Loot Skull Chest : 3-4 steel, around a 1/3 chance of steel appearing

Obviously, this should only be given my the Davy Jones's crew, from Dregs to Thrall Captains.

I must say I like the concept, but I think that you should be able to get different materials from different groups of enemies, and bosses could drop multiple materials and more of them. Example: General Darkheart drops a loot pouch, it may have canvas, silk, and/or pine. Example 2: You kill a stump enemy and it drops oak or pine.

Forgot to mention the drops should be based on the enemy's tag. Example: A gray tag enemy cannot drop material from a container, a green tag enemy will drop very little material, a yellow tag enemy will drop a bit more material then a green tag, and a red tag enemy will drop the most material.

Sounds great, the coding that will have to go in this might be a bit difficult.
