Hey everyone!

Starting today is our second contest, a Ship Name suggestion contest! To enter, submit a ship name you would like added to the game. You must specify if the name is to be a prefix or suffix. If it is not specified, then it is up to the interpretation of the judges.

Up to 6 winners will be chosen. Each winner will receive 20,000 gold coins added to their pirate during beta, and at least 1 of the names they suggested added to the game, permanently! Winners will be decided by event organizers.

This contest will close on Oct 16th, 2016 at 12 am. (Time Remaining)

We hope you enjoy this contest and can't wait to hear the names suggested!

Contest Rules:
  • You may enter a maximum of 10 separate names. A name is considered to be a single word, such as "Dragon". "Red Dragon" would count as 2 separate names. Submitting over 10 names will result in only the first 10 being judged.
  • You must specify whether the name submitted is a prefix or suffix name. If it is not specified, it is left up to the interpretation of the judges.
  • Pirates Forums Staff, The Legend of Pirates Online Staff, and The Legend of Pirates Online Quality Assurance Testers are not eligible for the gold reward, but may still enter if they wish!
  • Submissions are only considered valid if they are submitted on this thread on the forums. Submissions located elsewhere are not valid. You must make a forums account in order to submit.
  • Names must be original, and cannot be names already found in game (you may not use an existing prefix name as a suffix name). Names already in game can be found in this spoiler. Credits to the Pirates Online Wikia for this list.

Since this is a contest for new names, is there anywhere we can look for the names already on the list from the game as it is now?
 
Hey all, this is just a reminder that we have 3 days left! We've had 215 posts on this thread, so if we assume at least 150 of them are entries, that means 1500 names have been suggested! It's going to be hard to find just 6 winners! :)

I have a feeling that you may have misunderstood the competition instructions (correct me if I'm wrong). You're supposed to suggest new names that don't already exist in the game.

For example:
Prefix: "Forum"
Suffix: "Browser"

Neither of those are in the game so they would be acceptable.
(Note that I purposely made unrealistic suggestions because I already made my real suggestions above, and I don't want to interfere with others' suggestions).
