Ships of the Line should be buffed or given multiple classes

Ships of the Line are supposed to be the elite warships. The most dangerous foes. A cut above the rest. But they have the same number of broadside cannons as war galleons and the same number of deck guns as war frigates. Shouldn't they have drastically more? Right now, they are basically just war galleons with two additional guns and a ton more armor. Or maybe there should be multiple classes of them, like in real life. For example:
The current SoLs could be 4th rate.
3rd rate could have, say, 18 broadsides and 10 deck guns on each side.
2nd rate could be something like 24 broadsides and 14 deck guns.
1st rate could be 30 broadsides and 18 deck guns.
Is that a lot? Yeah, but Ships of the Line should be truly deadly enemies. Incredibly dangerous. Would really give them the feel of super tough boss ships.

At this moment, we have no plans on releasing it. If we were to, we’d obviously take a look at the stats.

EDIT: The Navy SOTL sailed on has different stats than the “normal” one.

I wasn't talking about releasing it. I meant making new tiers of Ship of the Line enemies.

Realistically, the current SotLs moreso resemble Spanish and British Galleons. Ships of the line were gunships and escort vessels from my knowledge reading up on the classes of ships back during their service life, meaning we'd likely see ships moreso closely resembling in-game War Brigs.

That being said, I think releasing additional "Warship/SOTL" enemies that don't use existing models would be cool, and it'd be neat to see a random roving current Ship of the Line appear in waters controlled by the Navy.

Yeah. The current SOTOLs are enormous relative to the characters. Like, much larger relative to them than real ships of the line are compared to people (based on my experience visiting the HMS Victory). Feels like they have much more room for guns. I want them to be terrifying. The kind of enemy you don't engaged without a skilled crew and a lot of experience. Almost like the Foulberto Smashos of the sea.
