Silverfreeze swindle

I was battling Remington the vicious yesterday in a crew of five. In about 3 battles, I received a SILVER FREEZE weapon. I promptly stopped and placed the knife in an available slot of my inventory, thanking my wise decision to clear out all the useless junk. Then I went about my business defeating Remington many more times with my team. I went to try my new weapon on him and discovered the SILVERFREEZE weapon WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!!!! I looked in both inventories over and over and it just wasn't there! I thought, well maybe I need to relog! I did and still NOTHING!
How is that possible?
 
I’ve never heard of such a thing. Are you certain that it was in your inventory and not left it the chest some how? Sorry this happened to you, what a nightmare. On the bright side the Silver Freeze is not super powerful and even much less so now, while freeze is disabled, plus it’s not super hard to find so you have a fair chance of finding another before it is restored. I couldn’t imagine how disappointing it would have been it it had been Mercer’s Pistol, that would be quitting the game kinda anguish.
