Quests Sink a French Shadow Crow ship

I am trying to help my guild member with her quest to sink a french shadow crow ship, we have sunk it multiple times and she is still not getting the quest as complete, we also boarded it just now and we are stuck and still not getting the quest.

Hmm does she know whom too go to after the quest is complete? Has she tried this? I know sometimes it doesn't register but it is actually completed.
 
She has been to the quest giver, nothing happens.
Still has the quest to sink it.
I just went with her to sink it again on another server, still not working. Quest must be bugged.
The Crew needs to see this.
 
Update:

Another member from my guild has just obtained and completed the quest.
Works for one and doesn't work for another??
