Request So I got banned for macroing

Isn't two days for a macro a bit harsh? I wasn't even told not to marco it was just like bam your banned for two days. If someone had told macroing wasn't allowed I wouldn't have been macroing. Plus, I'm banned for the whole weekend. At least let a first timer play for the weekend. Its not like I'm going to macro after this, now knowing my account will get banned for two days.

Auto clickers have been against the rules throughout the history of POTCO and TLOPO. You agreed to these rules when registering for your account.
  • Usage of third-party software to modify the game.
  • Using automation systems or tools to control the game.
They are heavily frowned upon in the community too.

Your guild is not TLOPO staff. Nobody in the game has the power to ignore rules. Your guild is also not representative of the 150,000 players registered at TLOPO, the majority of whom hate auto clickers.

Just don't continue auto clicking when the ban ends. That's the whole point of bans, to give you a reason to not break the rules.

That might be because they do not have the same quality of moderators that TLOPO does. The TLOPO team makes it a top priority to ensure that all players are following the terms of service and community standards/guidelines, this way all players have an equal opportunity to play in a healthy and friendly environment of fellow pirates.

More accustomed to doing it doesn't mean it's any more legal. "Cop didn't see it, I didn't do it" does not necessarily mean there aren't cameras or witnesses to your crimes.

Understand this now and let this ban serve as a warning to you: TLOPO actually gives two craps on a doubloon that you are violating ToS, and it is much easier to catch you red handed given that the community and game is vastly smaller than your traditional run of the mill options. If you want to play and enjoy, then do that. If you are going to keep attempting to use third party software that is not explicitly sanctioned by TLOPO, prepare to have run-ins often assuming they don't outright banish you for a second attempt...
 
just to put my two cents in. most games that i know of dont allow macro clicking as it is a cheap way to farm and and it really just kills the game for you oh i got to so and so already but you didnt actually put the work into it. the whole game experience is much better if you play the game fairly. trust me tlopo is not the only game to enforce no auto clicking aka macro i know plenty of others that do the same if not bean for longer amount of time if not ban you completely. this is rather light in terms of what could happen to auto clicking

To me it looks like you're trying to justify auto clicking by saying you've seen worse. It's like when you get caught stealing and you tell the police that it's not as bad as someone who murdered someone, rules are rules and it's not like you got terminated.
 
K here are my two cents. I choose the play I want to play the game. If I want to go afk and have a bot do all the work for me I can do that for enjoyment. If I want to occasionally macro I can do that. If I want to make an AI to play the game for me I can do that. If this brings me entertainment then thats how I enjoy playing the game by cheating/exploiting there is nothing anyone can do about it except for banning me and trying to stop me. So don't tell me "Oh ItS gOnNa RuIn ThE eXpErIeNcE" Bruh idc about my experience, I play for fun whether that means going afk and using a freaking macro just to gain some levels and then coming back and doing the rest. Like going to eat for 20 minutes. But yeah, since this games got a huge problem with and a stupid banning policy, I won't do it to make people like you all happy. Because you're so offended when people break the rules. Might as well make a new account too because im not waiting two darn days
 
Wow, so cheating doesn't bother you??? One question I have, why did your guild tell you it was ok when they know people get banned for this??? It is a well know fact, this is not something they just implemented. This game has been staunch on this rule from day one.

I didn't say my guild was okay with this. I just said they didn't care. Also, I don't find macroing (shooting while im away) as cheating as compared to either botting or hacking. Either way, I don't consider it as cheating because its PvM. If its a PvM game then it shouldn't matter what you do. There is going to be no contact with you and other people. What I mean by that is not in a group based area or a heavily used area by others. The person I am cheating is myself and the hostile entities that I am going to own. It isn't cheating if it doesn't hurt the community. It's not cheating if I don't hurt or bother anyone else. The reason I can see macroing being a problem could be with ships and just being afk. But, you can be afk on a ship regardless, so that doesn't really matter. Other than that I don't see a reason for it to be considered a nuisance as long as you aren't bothering anyone else. But if the game doesn't want me to then that's fine.
