So what are Haunted bones used for?

I can't seem to find anything that uses them.
The new tattoo shops and clothing shops only use small and large bones
I was lucky enough to get 5 haunted bones in a loot skull.
Anyone have any clue what I should use them for?

I would assume the haunted bones are used at the new weapons vendors. Of course, I'm too low a level to investigate myself, so let me know!

You go to special vendors such as the one upstairs in the Decrepit Shop, the Gypsy cart etc. They have special vendors inside that “exchange” their items for bones.
