Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) Multiplayer re-opened through steam!

If you have a steam copy of the game, you can now play multiplayer again natively, without use of 3rd party mods/programs.

Granted, it is extremely buggy and lots of crashes. More updates are expected in the next couple of days to improve stability.

Between TLOPO and SWBF2 re-opening, I feel like a kid again!

I have the physical copy of this game when I bought it at it's release back in 2005, has like 7 discs in it lol, but thanks for this news, great game!

Multiplayer is getting more stable as the days go on from what I've seen, I can actually get into games and play. Next big thing that needs to happen is the introduction to dedicated servers because most if not all of the current servers are hosted on personal machines so the lag is abundant.
