Star Wars Battlefront is an action game played from either a first-person or third-person view; players can switch at any time, similarly to the previous games.[8] Players traverse planets from the Star Wars universe, such as Endor, Hoth, Tatooine and the newly introduced planet of Sullust. To navigate the world, players use a variety of vehicles, including both air and land-based vehicles.[9] Battles are planet-based, restricting players from exploring space. The game's weapons, characters, gear and abilities are customizable.[10] As new weapons are unlocked, players have the ability to share them with their teammates.[9] Battlefront will not feature iron sights.[11]

The game lets players choose to control either a Rebel Alliance soldier or an Imperial Stormtrooper. There will also be playable characters from the films, such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett,[12] as well as non-playable characters, such as R2-D2 and C-3PO.[13] The game includes cooperative missions which can be played offline but does not have a campaign mode. Players can complete the missions both independently and with bots or another player; the game supports split screen on consoles.[14] The game's online multiplayer mode supports up to 40 players in one match and 12 multiplayer maps will be available at launch. These maps will feature five locations from the Star Wars universe - Hoth, Tatooine, Endor, Sullust and Jakku

Im gonna be honest, very disappointed in this game. But there is one thing I do like about it: Its proving that the current gen consoles, XB1 and PS4, are already growing to weak. XB1 runs at 720p and PS4 runs at 900p. This console generation is already coming to an end, its only a matter of time.
 
I loved playing all four of the older Battlefront games but I'm mad that they didn't include space battles and the original hunt game mode in this one. They also better add more maps at release instead of in dlc's.

But yea, I was disappointed that they said there was no "space battles" like there was in BF2 but seeing as how it's been setup currently.. I'm more than happy with how it is and that was just the beta version so the full version is going to be

Yes four. Battlefront, BF2, BF: Renegade Squadron, and BF: Elite Squadron. I like how it is too, it reminds me of how the first Battlefront was where you could fly spacecraft in the atmosphere and not space.

OH! I forgot they made those two portable console versions.. but yea, I wish they'd implement to where you could go from atmosphere to space.. that'd be so awesome.
 
I dont ever pay full price for VGames but this one might be an exception to that rule because its Battlefront and I loved both to death, and with the new things we've cone up with since the last one was made-it couldn't possibly be any worse than the previous ones and has to be better somehow. Pumped.
