Event  Summer Beach Blast!

Summer in the Caribbean was lit ablaze today as pirates from all over the Caribbean came to take a change of pace from the countless battles they've been fighting over the past few weeks - with the waters still clear from the battle we waged against the bounty hunters, and our enemies still in fear from our shows of strength in Kingshead, it was a breeze for most pirates to reach what would become the Caribbean's Party Central!

Even early before the pirate crowds began to gather, as pirates began to spread the word of the celebration that was to come!

Of course, as we approached party time, things really started to pick up, as pirates got to meet and greet plenty of new pirates!

However, it seemed like we had a problem - some wicked voodoo magic was bent on keeping the sun down below the horizon! Luckily the pirates and I dug our feet in the sand, and stared down the skies to get it all started.

And once that sun broke, we sure did get in to the spirit of things, from doing a speedy swimming race around the shores of Outcast Isle, which ended up in a wild dance party...

...to a good ole' fashioned game of "Del Says," ending with us going after stand-alone PNC Veteran Lady Nayana.

After this, we took to the seas, to form what we old timers like to call a "Ship City" - a large group of ships clustered together to form a floating village, of sorts. Kinda like Shipwreck City without the shipwrecks. (We even got revenge against the Queen Anne's Revenge for trying to crash the rum blockade!)

We made quick port, and proceeded with a game of freeze tag, thinking all was well - but apparently not!

I received word from a spy within the enemy forces that the Navy had sent a fleet after us, in an attempt to not only crush our party, but take prisoner as many pirates as possible responsible for our previous victories! Seeing this threat, we quickly mobilized to defend ourselves!

Though we suffered a few casualties, we proudly struck back our attackers, and then made a victory sail to Tortuga to celebrate!

Unfortunately the rum run that was planned in honor of the Tiki Lords was not carried out, but this did not stop us from giving them an honor itself!

But then it was brought to my attention we also had a few special guilds in our attendance who was also celebrating anniversaries - and although neither of their Guildmasters were in attendance, I know them both as dear friends, and simply had to honor them as well!

And of course, to celebrate, we did what all... most, pirates do - dance!

I want to once again thank all the pirates and guilds that came out to make this a success - couldn't have done it without ya, mates!

And, as I promised at the event, keep your eyes peeled on these here forums over the next few days! War be brewing once again - and it's time to strike another blow in the name of freedom!
