There has been a few changes within the rules and the organization of the event. Please take a moment to read before advancing into signing up.

This is a friendly SvS competition that will last ONE(1) FULL HOUR.
The Event is open to ALL pirates in the Caribbean and its main goal is FUN and only FUN. Winning should be a bonus and done fairly!

Entering Requirements:
  1. War Sloop, War Frigate or War Brig.
  2. Minimum crew of 2 gunners/cannoneers.
  • Customized ship recommended
Judge(s) will travel between teams(ships) to check if the requirements are met. An individual team(ship) will not count unless the requirements are met.

How to Enter:
Once you meet the requirements above, reply here on this forum thread by stating:
  1. Ship Name
  2. Pirate Name (Captain)
  3. Guild Name (Optional) and if crew is representing the guild.
  4. Side – French or Spanish (Optional)

For Your Information:
  • More than one ship per guild is allowed.
  • Ships of the same guild can be on different sides.
  • If a side is not posted it will be chosen for you to even the sides up.
  • IF YOU DO SIGN UP AND THEN YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT ATTEND ANNOUNCE IT HERE ON THE THREAD.
  • This is not a guild vs. guild event therefore your crew can be made up of friends/others.
  • Customized/Upgraded ship is not required but recommended to perform better.
  • Scores will be taken by the Host as soon as the time is up. Complaining or last minute sinks that are done after time is up, will not count therefore all complains will be disregarded.
  • Winners will be announced on the Founders and Pirates Association and Pirates Forums sites.

SvS/Privateering Event Code:

Each individual team (ship) will get up to three(3) warnings. Each warning will be a penalty of breaking one rule. After three penalties, the individual team(ship) will be disqualified no matter the position they hold.
  1. All Pirates must AVOID any offensive talk, any glitch/cheat and drama at all times.
  2. Captains must wait for the Hosts/Judges command to start the battle.
  3. Teamwork to sink one ship is allowed. After all this is also a team event.
  4. Sailors must stay within the boundaries on the map provided.
  5. Teams must meet the requirements to join the event.
  6. If a participant breaks the rules they will be eventually disqualified.
  7. You must stay for the Full Hour for your ship to count. Do not sign up if you can’t.
  8. Sink ‘Em All!
  9. Have a Good Time!

Judges will travel between ships to make sure ships are within the provided boundaries provided above(red lines). Going outside the boundaries will count as one warning. Repeating this action will eventually lead to disqualification.​

This is not an Individual Contest therefore please do not brag. There will be three announced winners(top three high scores) but that doesn't mean that whoever wins is the "best SvSer". The whole point of this to have fun and enjoy SvS for what it is.

That being said, do your best and Sink 'Em All!

Do we absolutely have to have at least 2 gunners? Mine never show up and I don't like putting my ship on public anymore..

I'll try my best to get gunners though. And, yes, this time I won't be late. Got a new computer, lol

Yes, at least 2 gunners are required. Sorry if thats a bit difficult to get but that is to ensure some balance between teams so everyone gets to have fun instead of one ship taking over everyone. I hope this makes sense.

Also remember that I nor any other judge will not be sailing or gunning. We will be moving from ship to ship to make sure everything goes as planned so everyone ends up happy in the end of the day and the issues are minimized.

I live on East coast as well and this is on a Saturday so I hope it's not too early and I'm afraid that if I do change it to an earlier time, a lot more would not be able to make it. 9 has also been the time which the event started on so sorry and hopefully you will be able to figure something out. Remember that this is two weeks from now so you got time to plan it out and get what you need.
 
LoL soon it's not gonna get dark outside until 8 pm in East coast. Just do your best to fit it in your 9-10 pm schedule.
 
Maybe if i wasn't clear, The gunners can switch if you cannot maintain the same through out. For example you can have gunners that come and go as long as at least 2 are present there for most of the time... Again sorry if this is difficult to get and maintain but try to have at least 2. It's only 1 more than 1.:p
