The Crows Nest

I've always imagined a way to be able to climb up to the crows nest and use a telescope.

I have also wanted this ability and have mentioned it in the past. But alas, so many features to add, so few people to make it all happen.
The dev team could be doubled, and they'd all still have a full plate of things to do.
Patience and appreciation for what we got for now.

I could see this mechanic being used as a way to bring back the shining ray to be able to spot ships you need easily. I also see this a potential AFK spot for leeches on ships.
