Before we start, I want you all to know that these are only my theories. Just wanted to write this down and share it with you all. Yeah, it might be only mindlessly looting 24/7, but I'd rather have my own story. Enjoy!



As we all know, Forsaken Shallows is a new TLOPO expansion, a new cave that sends shivers down your spine, filled with new bosses and new legendaries waiting to be looted.

There had been added 6 new bosses:

  • Cicatriz - on Raven's Cove, El Patron's Mines
  • Crash - on Tormenta, Cursed Caverns
  • Drench & Drizzle - on Tormenta, Forsaken Shallows
  • Jimmy Legs - on Tormenta, Forsaken Shallows
  • Koleniko - on Tormenta, Forsaken Shallows
  • Palifico - on Tormenta, Forsaken Shallows

So far we know about only 2 new legendary cursed swords which had been found by:

Henry Dreadhound from The British Empire, who was using nades, same weapon as Koleniko, and he got the Krakenslayer.

and Quinn Savagerackham from P E A C E Keepers who was using his sword (Puffer blade as he stated), Crash also uses a sword, and he got The Onyx Curse.

As it was stated before, these can't be obtained with the normal looting technique.

So, I've been trying all kinds of methods with my friends and guildmates. I've been trying to lure Palifico down to the Mood Rock while we were all staying on the small rocks and killed him several times.

A guildmate (Tom Deckspinner) and I searched the entire area for clues, came up with theories and such.

  • They're all looking for something, digging desperately.

  • There is a digging spot right next to the Davy Jones spectre. Probably there's gonna be a side quest, but you never know.

  • You know how there's always a map and wherever the X is, there's the treasure? Well, we noticed that those piles of sand/dirt around the Davy Jones spectre kinda look like it.

Then they are like a trail, leading to the glitch that gets you to the mood rock, right under Palifico.

  • Then we know that Davy Jones' Crew couldn't step on land, right? Koleniko is the only boss that is not on land, but he can chase you down and step on land?

^as you can see, there are also a few piles of sand/dirt; killed Koleniko with nades while standing on it a few times.

  • Why can't the other entrance be accessed? Could it be for the side quests? Or maybe something else?

  • I was thinking that maybe they should be killed in alphabetical order, but that doesn't make sense because Koleniko was first and Crash second. I also had this theory that maybe the first letters of their names could maybe form a word, a clue, something.
C C D D J L K P - but since Drench & Drizzle are technically one there'd be only one D so idk


  • Quinn Savagerackham has been looting for a few days at Crash, with a crew of 4 people, him being the 5th.
  • Henry Dreadhound just tped to his guildmates when someone said they were at Koleniko and looted for a while, same with the crew, 5 people in total.

Quinn, @Captain Archie and I had been looting for DAYS at Jimmy Legs, using different methods and no sign of any new legendary. We might either miss something or maybe the loot drops should be increased? Let me know what you think. :pirates::daggermouth:

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is loot at all the new bosses and each one with the exception of driizle and drench drop one, it's just that they're hard to loot. Also I'm not sure dentface is apart of the tlopo staff.
 
You have a very interesting list of ideas and theories here. I do feel you're onto to something with this as it's proven very difficult to obtain these swords but that could just be the way the devs have intended them to be or it's we aren't doing something correct.

Ik, I forgot to mention that these are just theories haha just wanted to post what's going through my head and share it with others boi
