Although his name has been lost in time and almost completely erased from the pirate legend, he is still known by very few.
The man who was Captian Kraken was not a pirate of any type of malicious intent. In fact he was known as one of the most well known sailors in the Caribbean.
During the time of war and days of piracy, he was known throughout the seas as a kind and gentle man. A man who would keep his promises and was a friend to many.
The Navy and EITC were both in alliance with him as well as the Pirate Lords. As he had shown no sign of any malicious intent at all and does what he’s told unless it violated humane rights and his own code.
He would treat his men with utter most respect and be harsh on them when he truly needed too and they would treat him with the same loyalty and respect.
legend goes that before the time when Roger and Sparrow hadn’t had their little fight with the poker game, the captain had come to Tortuga and was welcome by everyone.
Jack had heard about this loyal and friendly captain, having a game of poker and soon discovered that those rumors were indeed true! So unlike jack he actually played fair as did Kraken, Jack won anyway but desired no true payment as he had a fun game with the kind man.
Roger however was not one of theee kind of people....
Roger was skeptical, a extremely paranoid man who was unsure of this Captain. He was afriad that he would suddenly and completely betray every single one and destroy them all once he had the chance. He then thought of a plan to rid the seas of this man and it was devious....
Roger had called to the legendary ghost captian of the Flying Dutchman himself, Davy Jones, to challenge The man to a game of Liars dice. He offered his knowledge of the swords of El Patron and the location, Jones agreed.
When Jones came to the man, he was suprised to find that Kraken had no true fear of jones. He happily agreed to the game to his utter confusion!
soon the game started. Each game they played ran into a tie or Kraken won with pure luck and fairness.
Soon after 12 games Jones had also gained respect.
this ENRAGED roger! How could such a man like this gain the trust of a heartless monster such as Jones!
that’s when he invited the poor Captain On a treasure hunt, to find a treasure so glorious that he would split the take!
They agreed but foolishly...
As they had arrived to the spot after years of searching and clues...they had found a Ruby the size of a mans fist! The Krakens Heart as they called it...
That is when Roger suddenly grabbed and ran with the treasure...leaving Kraken with his poor crew and a single rowboat. They tried to make it off the island but suddenly they were attacked by the very monster of the same name...a quick and sad end to a man who was lived by many...or so they had thought.
The great Calypso had felt pity on the man, even if she was bound by her human form she could not allow this to happen to a man who had grown in the town not by wealth or power but my compassion.
She rose the man from the dead but with the same curse as Jones...she could not let him be seen. Now some say he walks underwater, in the deep dark depths.
Looking and searching for Roger. Awaiting the day when he will get his own revenge and be able to have peace...
