The meaning of loot runs/where can I find them

Hey guys. I have seen quite a few loot runs lately, you know, the ones where people get like 10 skulls and 10 fames??? Yeah those.

I am shocked at how people are getting such good loot from making this loot runs, and I am pretty clueless on what the strategy to getting them is.

If someone could please explain this to me I'd very much appreciate it.

Also if anyone does sailing loot runs a lot I'd love to join you/please let me know!
 
Basically, you just sail around areas that have high concentrations of mid/high level ships (Padres, for example) and sink them all. Ignore the hunters and warships: as long as you keep sailing and make semi-wide turns, they won't even shoot you. You can stay out as long as you please, but I'd say most runs average an hour-ish? You don't necessarily need to sink every single ship as you pass by. As long as you are close enough as you sail through, the ships will aggro to you and will begin to follow. Once you have a good cluster, just make a turn wide enough that the hunters/warships can't hit you and circle around so that your crewmates have a clear shot at the group. Your crew/broadsides will take the cluster out quickly, and then you can move on to the next group of ships. Hopefully that wasn't too complicated or confusing :P Good luck!

Yeah it makes sense... That seemed like what it would be, I must admit though I was hoping for some crazy tactic.
 
I get so many famed + legends from doing skull runs, 100% recommend it! Some of the top items I have gotten, ' Lost Sword of El Patron, ' several ' Iron Priming Rams, ' tons of famed rams + charts + globes, ' Silver Freeze, ' Unbelievable amounts of dark blacks, and brights. ' Also there is a glitch to sort loot out faster when you go on big runs. ' When you port, press 'Take Small Items,' and then teleport to another server. ( WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ABASSA. ) When you get to the other server, only press on the items you do NOT want. After you leave all of the items you want, teleport to the original server and press 'Take All.' Congrats. You sorted your loot in 2 minutes instead of 15. PLEASE READ: They have a bug when you get your loot after doing this glitch, it will change the color of the clothing sometimes, but not always! Good luck pirates!
