Looting The one(s) that got away...

OK, ouch! This one hurt!

OK, so either the devs are working frantically to fix this glitch of not being able to port, or they have no clue what the problem is and are hopelessly lost (or of course, they have other priorities, such as life, classes, etc - don't we all, lol!).
I am now not able to port at all anymore, and am relegated to viewing what got away, and of course re logging after every sail.
It sort of takes the wind out of one's sails, as it were...
Most unfortunate, but I hope at some point the matter gets resolved.
 
Well, as much as I don't use or like the cutlass, this one got stuck in the net...
I think I'll keep it for a rainy day.

Just to clarify, it isn't incorrectly stating what happened. When you log into the game, you can only have one pirate open at a time. The server has no means of seeing whether or not it's you on the same computer or even another person for that matter, so the generic message is "Somebody else has logged into your account from a different computer". The server disconnects you, and you then are able to see the loot panel, because that's generated long before reaching an island.

This also is the same message displayed back from the time Disney ran the game. Essentially all it means is that somebody (whether you or not) has logged into your account while you were using it, and only one can be on at a time.

Just as a side note, this screenshot actually might be able to help the devs debug what the infinite loading screen issue is because it shows where you are frozen at in the loading process.
 
This thread is about infinite loading screen glitches and those wonderful weapons that got away, and how to view them.

Yes, rest assured that mats and gold will always be yours, as long as you safely make it to port before/when crashing. No worries there.
