Hey all,
Recently, there have been a few threads as of late highlighting the occurrence of community members selling TLOPO accounts on online services such as Ebay. It raised some concern, and after a bit of deliberation among TLOPO staff, an official stance was created for the issue.
It was decided that we will consider the act of selling accounts as forbidden, especially if the situation becomes scandalous (e.g. "Look at this forum post! This person is selling this account!"). The consequence for any account that is being sold and that reaches that point of publicity will be automatically terminated. The Terms of Service will be updated to reflect this stance as soon as possible (this post will serve as provisional policy in lieu of the Terms of Service being updated).
