TLOPO Staff back at it again.

NOTE- IF YOU'RE GOING TO READ AT ALL- READ THE WHOLE THING!
AND HONESTLY, TRY TO BE CIVIL-- TOWARDS ME, THE TLOPO STAFF TEAM, AND EVERYONE. IN THE END- THIS IS JUST A GAME AND I JUST WANT TO PLAY. ALSO- PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT MY EMAILS NEVER SHUNNED ANYONE AND WERE ALWAYS RESPECTFUL.


This is yet another time where a simple fix has been been delayed much much longer by the TLOPO Staff directly due to who I am. There's no way this is a coincidence. This is the third time they do nothing (or literally take a very long time) about something so simple to fix, which they have fixed for people previously.

I always had a good relationship with TLOPO Staff and Forums Staff up until I had joined "another remake". Afterwards, I felt like I had been treated much differently. From this, I spoke up more about issues and what I believed to be corruption. The first (and second) time- It was "coincidence", "could've happened to anyone", "not because of who I am", "we don't have silly grudges on anyone because of their past experiences or connections" are some of things I was told. What a joke. I, along with anyone who was staff for the other remake as well as anyone who had been staff (which is where fell between these two groups), was unable to connect to TLOPO Servers and received some unrelated error- while others could freely connect and play.

Now, I've run into an error myself due to being gullible and it feels a lot like they've refused to fix it. I know several people who have encountered the SAME. EXACT. ISSUE as I have who got it fixed MUCH, MUCH faster than I have. (NOTE: Current Issue is still not fixed).

I first emailed TLOPO regarding this specific issue on 12/30/17, as seen in this screenshot.

FOR ANYONE WONDERING- I LATER FOUND OUT THE PERSON WHO SENT ME THAT ACCOUNT WAS PRAISED FATHER AKA HATE, A MEMBER OF THE NOTORIOUS POTCO COMMUNITY-AIMED TERRORIST GROUP KNOWN AS "REIGN OF TERROR" or "ROT".

I emailed them a lot following that first email, trying to help in any way I could as well as just trying to get my issue resolved. It is now 4/15/18 and I forwarded my email to their new support email as they changed their domain name to "tlopo.com".

This is not the first time I have felt ignored and rejected by their team like this.

Last time I had an issue that made the game so difficult to play, I had to directly speak with someone from their development team in order to resolve it, rather than going through support. So I will say this now-
I DO NOT KNOW IF THE ISSUE IS ISOLATED TO THEIR SUPPORT TEAM BUT ANYONE INVOLVED OR RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MAKES THE ENTIRETY OF THE TLOPO STAFF LOOK LIKE LAZY AND CHILDISH.

I might be overreacting, but I don't think I am. Just fix my issue. I want to play.


DO NOT HATE ON THE TLOPO TEAM OR ANYONE IN THE TLOPO TEAM FROM THIS THREAD. THIS IS JUST TO SPREAD AWARENESS OF MY ISSUE AND I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE GENUINELY FEELS THE SAME WAY AS I DO BUT I DON'T CONDONE OR SUPPORT ANY ANY HATRED, TROLLING, ETC. AGAINST THEM FOR THIS.

There are a couple things here:
First off, there are a couple people I know who were part of the "other remake" who don't have this issue. Clearly it is a coincidence or else these people I know wouldn't have access to the game (not releasing names because it's rude).

I know I shouldn't be back-seat moderating, however, this thread should be posted in the bugs section. Not the general discussion tab. If you really want to help yourself out, then for starters, post your issue in the correct area so mods and devs know it's an issue.

Have you tried anything else other than just emailing the devs? Have you tried possibly creating a new account? Have you tried looking at your computer, looking at your router, looking at the game files for potential corruption? It doesn't matter whether you have the top-of-the-line internet or hardware; issues can still occur.

I hate to be a little bit of a hypocrite on the matter of flaming, but I faintly remember you making a couple threads attacking TLOPO staff outright. When you say "I [have] always had a good relationship with TLOPO Staff and Forums Staff", you need to at the very least be truthful with such a statement, otherwise, what does that tell the TLOPO staff?

Lastly, it doesn't make yourself look any better when you are flaming other people like what you have just said to my friend (and many others mind you), @internetpirate .

I'm not sure if you're calling me your friend or IP your friend. I didn't flame IP and in-fact IP is my friend. LOL. Second, Thanks for being civil but I do not think you read my whole thread. This isn't a bug. This is specific BAN called a Hardware ID ban. which makes it so the specific computer you logged into a HWID banned account on is not usable to play. So, my main PC, the one I used to login to the HWID'd account cannot play TLOPO (unless, in simplest terms, they remove me from their banlist). Also, I'm aware others do not have this issue from the Other Remake. In the past I had issues that were shared amongst the staff from the Other Remake. This HWID ban is specific to me or anyone else who was targeted by Praised Father. and I did always have a good relationship with TLOPO Staff and Forums Staff

also they're more ban methods than hwid, hwid could be the cause but as far as i'm aware i don't think it is.

you said we're friends and we have worked on remakes together but whatever if we're not friends we're not friends then. I could care less.

don't take what people say as gospel, you're just digging yourself in a hole.
 
people who associate themselves with Father or that "Bianca" who kept stealing accounts and/or hacking the game repeatedly usually get hardware ID banned, because they think its those people trying to get back into the game again to kill people at tortuga. You will probably have to fully prove to them you are not associated otherwise they won't do anything to help you. this is all rumor that i have heard.
 
post your issue in the correct area so mods and devs know it's an issue.

I'm pretty sure that TLOPO staff are aware of this issue after a decent good amount of emails and especially since it has been forwarded to the developers to look into it plus a reminder. Posting this in the correct section would pretty much do nothing.

We have just individually reviewed your account and fixed the problem causing your issue. We will be taking steps to correct this sort of occurrence in the future and encourage you to contact us directly rather than making a forums post.

Over the past few weeks we have migrated our mailbox to a new server, as well as our website to a new domain; it is very likely that the email got lost in the pipes along the way.
