Question To the DEV's about glitches

It's been pretty bad with no loot on sailing manifests, and for weeks a large percent of manifests lose most if not all containers. But it's beta and that's not really my point here. My question to the dev's is: When I port and it's empty loot after a full cargo, does it do any good to do a in game report right there while your manifest is still showing. I do those in game trouble reports a lot, but to this day I have no idea what the input field is in the below portion of the ticket or how to fill it out. It doesn't seem to be phrased in English to me.
I also believe I've done a thread on that subject alone with no answers yet.

Anyhow, will this in game report given at time of viewing the manifest be of any real help? Is there really anything to go on depending how quickly we do the in game report.
Is there a wiki that fully explains that report so I can do a better job of um, using the in game report?

Thanks for all you geek folks do.

Hey! If we've mentioned a particular bug in the "Known Issues" section of the release notes, it's safe to assume we're aware of it and are working on it. You do NOT have to report it in-game if that is the case.

We've been aware of this particular bug for a long time. It's unfortunately more complex, but we have some internal logging going on to help identify the issue. Just sit tight! The devs are on it. :)

When it comes to how to best report a bug:

- Check to make sure it isn't a super common bug everyone's talking about.
- Check to make sure it hasn't been mentioned in the Known Issues section of the release notes in recent patches.

^ If the above is NOT the case, then feel free to report the bug in-game.

And lastly, the more detailed the bug report, the more helpful it is. If you have detailed steps to reproduce it, the easier it will be for the devs to identify and isolate the issue.

That's what the "Steps to Reproduce" section is about. Just tell us what we can do in-game to make it happen to us.

Hope this cleared things up!

Mostly thanks. At the risk of looking dense, because well, I can be. Could you actually print an example under the 'steps to reproduce'
part? Like exactly how the devs want it to look? Any example will do. And I'll check 'known issues' too.
Thanks so much.

This is an example based off of an old bug for Mac users:

Brief description:

"Game crashes whenever I use the cannon."

Steps to reproduce:

"Go to cannon.
Fire cannon."

Thx. Guess I thought it was a little more complex than that.

Brief description:
"I'm dc'g when porting."
So it's -
"Go to Cuba"
"Crash"?

I always wondered if you were doing what I was mentioning in the other forum.
essentially knocking out all of your containers with ship mats and expecting to see loot containers at the docked loots screen and thought it was some sort of new glitch.

If so I hope I helped explain it and i can always give u a shorter rundown
