Toribash!

Lykos

Honorable Pirate
Any other fellow Toribash players? I haven't seen much talk about this game on here so i decided to give it a shot! We can discuss strategies and favorite mods and such. Just make sure to post your username when you do (and belt level if you want)

The basic concept of the game is control your character (known as a Tori), and either strike the opponent's Tori, or push their Tori out of a boundary (if there is one). There are several different mods which alter the gameplay. For example, Aikido is typically played slower and one would typically focus on getting the other Tori out of bounds while Mushu is played very quickly and the goal is to strike the opponent using your hands and feet.

This looks like a really cool game and I'm eager to try it out, thanks for sharing! :)
No problem!

Don't be discouraged when you start though. It can be a bit hard to get a hang of. Once you understand how the physics of the game work, then it's pretty easy from there!

Yeah the mechanics are hard at first, I usually win by keeping my head above the other guy or making him ring out. are any of the mod's good?

I don't know why they're called mods, but those are just the different play styles. If you look at the top of the list in the Multiplayer Menu, you'll see a category called "Mod". In that category you see things like Mush or Judo or Aikido. These are just play styles (if that makes any sense). You don't actually modify the game in its entirety, just the way each match is played. I hope that makes sense.

By the way, my in game name is headbashr, and my belt is a 5th dan Black Belt
